Concerts at Commons Beach in Tahoe City
Local, regional & national performers will delight Tahoe City audiences every Sunday afternoon this
summer. This FREE 12-week concert series begins June 26th through September 4th. Music begins at 4:00pm
and lasts until 7:00pm, (occasional early starts @3pm). Local food and drink vendors sell beer, wine,
soft drinks, ice-cream, sushi, barbecue, salads and more. Come early to enjoy the Lakeside ambiance with
friends and family (there is a fully equipped playground for the little rockers). Your picnic and
beverages from home are welcome.
MONDAY
Martini Mondays
Spindleshanks serves dinner nightly at 5:30 p.m. with the bar opening at 5 p.m. Martini Mondays features
$5 stem Martinis all night in the bar. And, Happy Hour is offered nightly in the bar from 5 to 7 p.m.,
with Happy Hour all night on Tuesday in the bar.

Bluesdays
Make your way to the Village at Squaw Valley for the free Blue’s concert series and indulge in the
delicious food and drinks the Village has to offer! Fun for the whole family!
PJ’s at Gray’s Crossing – Concert Series
June 19 – September 5th, these free outdoor concerts are family-friendly and open to all. Lawn space is
available on a first come, first serve basis. Show is 5:30-7:30 every Tuesday. Happy Hour at PJ’s
Restaurant is Mon-Fri 4:00-6:00.
WEDNESDAY
Movies on the Beach
Tahoe City’s free outdoor movie series this summer offering families and movie-goers a splendid outdoor
cinema experience every Wednesday in Tahoe City.
Yoga Squaw’d
Breathe and stretch with us every Wednesday this summer on First Street in The Village at Squaw
Valley. This free yoga class features special guest appearances from well known yoga instructors through
the end of August.
Music in the Park
Free music in the park every Wednesday at the Truckee Regional Park Gebhardt Amphitheater. Enjoy
local talent from 6:30-8:00pm. Bring food, drinks, chairs, and blankets to have a fun summer
evening with family and friends.
THURSDAY
Truckee Thursdays
Truckee Thursdays is an 11-week outdoor Thursday evening event held during June, July and August.
Activities include a certified organic Farmers’ Market, live music, arts and crafts vendors, beer
garden, sidewalk sales, outdoor dining, and family/children’s activities.
Free Outdoor Movie Series At Squaw
Families and friends can snuggle up under the stars while enjoying new releases and family classics on
the big screen in the Events Plaza at The Village at Squaw Valley. All movies start at 8:30pm,
weather permitting. Blankets and warm clothes are recommended.
Tahoe City Farmer’s Market
The Tahoe City Farmers Market is a fantastic community event not to be missed. Set on the the shores of
Lake Tahoe at the Commons Beach, the market offers visitors and residents access to California certified
farm-fresh, fruits, vegetables, flowers, and more. This annual event runs from May through October every
Thursday from 8am – 1pm in the Commons Beach parking lot in Downtown Tahoe City.
Trivia Night – Pizza on The Hill (January-April)
Test your brain skills at Pizza on The Hill which is in Tahoe Donner on Thursdays. Even begins at
6:30 and ends at 8pm, and you may even win free pizza! Call 530-587-9400 ahead of time to insure it
hasn’t been cancelled.

SATURDAY
Sidewalk Saturdays in Tahoe City
Join us on the second Saturday of the month, May through September. Sip and shop, enjoy specials,
entertainment and all that Tahoe City has to offer.
Drive In Movies
Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the movies will start between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. There will be no outside
food or drink allowed in the theater. The new Mountain View BBQ will be open during the movie where
guests may purchase snacks and beverages. The Bungy Trampoline will also be doing jumping sessions
between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. before the movie begins.
