You booked with TAP so that you can feel at home while on vacation. Don’t let the fear of
losing your security deposit keep you from enjoying your time.
- Make a small one-time payment upfront.
- Avoid the hassles of checks and credit card holds.
- Relax, knowing that you have $2,000 in coverage for accidental property damage.
- Avoid having to pump out a $2,000 Deposit, by purchasing our Damage Waiver!
What if Something Happens?
Simply report any damage that occurred to Tahoe Alpenglow Properties during your stay. Don’t be afraid to report the damage.. that’s why you purchased insurance! Why have the entire cost of a broken chair or hole in the wall be deducted from your deposit, when you could simply pay a small fee to have Tahoe Alpenglow Properties take fast action to repair or replace.
How It Works:
TAP Damage Waiver covers any ACCIDENTAL damages. Anything that is UNINTENTIONAL. If you throw a ball through a window, it is not covered. However, if you threw a ball to your son who hit the ball with a bat and the ball broke the window it will be covered. It will not cover anything that you do intentionally, anything that you were informed that you should’t do and still did (smoke in a non-smoking house), carpet cleaning, or any damage caused by weather.
*** FAILURE TO DISCLOSE AN ACCIDENT PRIOR TO CHECK OUT WILL RESULT IN THE REVOCATION OF ALL BENEFITS COVERED ***
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Tahoe Alpenglow Properties does not offer a Travel Insurance Policy but Travel Insurance was available with your reservation at time of booking, whether it was Airbnb Trip Insurance, HomeAway/VRBO Travel Insurance, or TripAdvisor/FlipKey Payment Protection, and Guest is responsible for having chosen or declined the option. Travel Insurance provides coverage for prepaid, nonrefundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation investment and force you to incur unplanned expenses. We strongly recommend you purchase this valuable protection as separate terms and conditions may apply. Read your Description of Coverage/Policy carefully and contact your provider directly with questions regarding your coverage.
