Located at 10500 Brockway Rd just 1/2 mile south of Downtown Truckee, this park offers 62 acres of recreation facilities. These include large and small ball fields, picnic areas with tables, a rodeo arena, nature trail, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, amphitheater, tot lot, skateboard park, disc golf course, and playground equipment.
Donner Memorial State Park
Donner Memorial State Park is right between the Donner Pass exit on 80 and Donner Lake itself. It’s a state park of California, preserving the site of the Donner Camp, where members of the ill-fated Donner Party were trapped by weather during the winter of 1846–1847. Visit the Emigrant Trail Museum.
Meadow Park
On Donner Trail Rd., located directly behind the Truckee Donner Public Utility building, the park features ball fields, playground, picnic area, and an open turf for play.
Glenshire Field
A six-acre park on Dorchester Dr. located adjacent to Glenshire Elementary School with open turf for soccer fields and one youth softball/baseball field.
Kings Beach Recreation Area
A park on the lakes beach with a nice play area for the kids with slides and a jungle gym, with restaurants and stores close by. Location is 8318 North Lake Blvd, Kings Beach.
North Tahoe Regional Park – Tahoe Vista
At 6600 Donner Rd, Tahoe Vista you will find 124 acres with captivating lake views, sports fields, hiking trails & camping grounds. Dogs on leashes are allowed, and there are 2 places for un-leashed dogs. Your children can play in the Tree Top Adventure Course, or childrens playground, while you run the 18 station fitness par course or pay at the tennis courts. Note: there is a $5 per vehicle charge at the gate.
Robert Pomin Park – Tahoe City
